| If you have a local rod builder id take it to them. im not sure if st. croix will cover that or not since it wasnt product malfunction. PM Jeremy at Tuscarora Tackle as well he'd know what to do |

Location: Perryville, MO | Go to St. Croix webpage, print off a label, and send it back with a check for the appropriate warranty (without looking I can't remember which warranty program you'll need for "operator error"). But I do know they'll still take care of you. They'll either fix it or send you a new one. Great customer service. |

| Wow, here in Sweden if you break it yourself, you get nothing back.
We never beraly ever have lifetime warranty, if a lure breaks you have to go back to the store with your reciept while the manufacturer basicly couldn't care less. |

That place is dangerous. I spend way too much money when I go there. |

Location: Gilberts IL/Rhinelander WI | In my experience going to the store in Park Falls, is the way to go. On the only two occasions bringing a rod back, that I broke, both times was told to grab a new one off the shelf. I don't see this happening if its shipped. |

| I had a similar experience when I broke a premier. Brought it up to the store, showed them the break, new rod in my hands free of charge. I'm sure they ended up fixing the old one and selling it in the blemished box. |

Location: Mt. Zion, IL | I only buy St. Croix rods from now on for two reasons:
1. The models I buy are made in the U.S. (Legends or Premiers are what I buy from now on)
2. Their customer service is the best in the industry as far as I am concerned. |

| Brought mine to the Chicago show and left it with the guys at the St.Croix booth. Had a new rod at my door, free of charge a week or two later. My fault it broke but they never asked. I am a customer for life because of that. |
