| Shep: Based on those numbers it would put me on the South East corner of Cedar Island in about 7ft of water
How close are we?

| Spitting with the wind, you'd reach shore. I got the numbers off MapQuest. Before Grant bought it, it was called Cedar Island Lodge.
Are you using a HotSpots/Navionics map on your GPS. I found mine on my GM100 to be about 100-200 feey off. I have the HS MMC for my X-15, also. They just relesed new versions, and have corected some issues, so I'm hoping they will be more accurate. |

| Shep:I would have to think that the Map Quest data may be off a little, the numbers you gave would put me within "Spitting Range" of the shore, Funny thing is that using Map Quest this morning those coordinates puts me in the middle of Mongolia. I am using the Fishing Hotspots Data for my Garmn and for the most part they seem to be accurate to within 10 feet in most cases, I'll meet you at those coordinates on Aug 23rd. []

| I found this great site this morning they sell all the Canadian hydrografic charts on CDs that can be used with your GPS. These charts are 100% accurate and are cost effective, I believe the LOTW CD with all the maps sells for $150 Canadian so not even $100 for you guys. LOL
