His new book is already available. I seen the ad in the Dec/Jan issue of MH.

You can buy it on the MH site here: http://www.muskyhuntercatalog.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=38&product_id=95

How does it compare to Tom Gelb's book from a quality standpoint?

Jim and Tom books is different but both are great to read! Tom's book is serious about how he location, lures and catch big fish. Jim's book is great in general musky fishing! If you are serious and already know a lot about musky fishing then buy Tom's book.

I think I've written before that both Saric's and Gelb's book should not be read for just the enjoyment of it, but treated like text books...the way you would study math or history in school as if you were going to have an exam. With Saric's book, you'll want to read it more than once. With Gelb's book you'll have no choice.

From the MHM website;

Two of the books published by Musky Hunter Publications, Muskies My Way and The Complete Guide to Musky Hunting, are now available as e-books from Amazon. They can now be downloaded to any mobile device.

I read Tom Gelbs new book after reading Muskies my way and they are very different. Tom's book spends pretty much the whole time discussing trolling. Alot about the thermocline and such. Very good reading as well, I learned a lot about the thermocline and lure depth. He also discusses moon phases, minors and majors ect. I don't think you could compare the two if you wanted tyo only buy one. Jims book is more casting and lure choice ect. Both are great.

I'd throw down $100 if Betty White did it.
