Just curious what brand of on board charger you have had luck with...or more specifically which ones gave you a bad experience. I have a Dual Pro 3 bank and have never had any problems with it, but will be moving up to a four bank shortly and want to make sure I weigh the options before I fork out 3-400 bucks. Also,is there any real benefits to moving up to 15 amps per bank from 10 amps per bank. Is it worth the extra 100 bucks in faster charging times?

All the batteries will charge overnight with 10A so unless you find that you're coming home and waiting to leave again before charging I would say 10A is fine.

Had Promariner ProSport 20 plus (only 3 banks) on my first boat and it worked just fine.

I went with this one on my new boat and it has been great so far.

I have a deceased Chargetek 3 bank in my boat and I need to replace it. Been thinking of just getting a Bass Pro charger or MinnKota since they have both instock.

Guest, MinnKota, Dual Pro are the top line chargers. Minn Kota and DualPro make 4 bank chargers @ 10A per Bank. 10A/bank is plenty.

For a 3 bank system, I like the Guest 2623A, 10-10-5, with the 5A for the cranking battery.

i have had both Guest and Dual Pro. Both are top notch charging at 10 amp per bank. I have had cheaper ones that lasted only a few seasons. I have heard good things about minn kota but they are twice as large and heavy as my Guest charger. I don't want my charger to take up tons of room. My guest is the 2620 i believe, its been the best i have had so far.
