I thought I'd try making a beetle crankbait. I've seen them in smaller sizes (1-2 inch), but not for muskie.. this one is 3.25 inches. That is as big as I could get it and still have a good action. It has lots of pearled colors, and a super wide wobble action. I'll get some video of it soon!

Don't know if they like beatles or not, But if you throw that pretty thing at them, they are sure to hit it. Nice job on both, the lure, and the painting. Great job.

Much appreciated guys, all makes perfect sense. Muskies will bite anything if there hungry enough for sure.
Yeah I use the artist masking fluid stuff you can get from the craft store. I use to use rubber cement, but this stuff makes it way easier.
