| A few of us have tossed around the idea of an ice fishing trip this winter. I really like the idea because 1) the planning and anticipation will help me/us get through the winter and 2) the event itself will be lots of fun, especially if we bring sprats (kids). Worral suggested we plan the event in a central location, like north-central WI, to reduce the total drive time of the folks who want to participate. I asked Troy Peterson, Mr. Bluegill, and moderator of the new ice fishing site if he would be interested in helping us and he said he would be happy to help at a cost of someone taking him musky fishing next season. (I decided to ask him after I read his post on how he cooks fish on the ice for his customers. mmmmm..... bluegills.)
Anyway, I'll step forward to lead the planning of the event and let's see how it goes.

| Count me, Eric, and maybe even Lauren in on this! Just let me know when so I can plan it. I think this will be a great time. I also think it should be a weekend thing. Arrive Friday, fish Saturday, and Sunday.[] | |

| If you change on loccation, I have a tight relationship with a lake of the woods outfitter out of Warroad so it would be Minn regulations,,,3days fishing 2 nights in a spacious sleeper fishhouse, bait, bombedier, vantrack transportation, walleyes, jumbo perch, saugers, and huge northerns on occassion, $130 | |
