Does anyone know if you can add micro bubbles to melted soft plastic? I'm thinking that the heat of the plastic would melt them, right?

Yes, you should be able to with vigorous mixing as the plastisol cools and gets more viscous trapping the bubble in. Same thing as ice cream but you are adding bubbles to ice cream as it gets colder (but more viscous). The hard part will be to get the bubbles added, then still be able to pour the bait into the mold. You should have a temperature window to do this in. Just trial and error. Also, be careful incorporating the bubbles into your plastic. I think you already know how hot plastisol is when its in its liquid state... Wear your PPE (gloves, face shield with goggles, extra coat to your gloves, etc). I even wear a gas mask when working with plastisol as it gives off HCL gas. enjoy!
