Captain Frank Crescitelli lost his guide boats and has been without electric, water and food for days now.He also has run out of cash ,the only help he can get now is from us.Capt. Frank has a lure business called GuidesSecret, selling striper and saltwater lures, that I believe some will work for muskies. We could help Frank and his family get back on their feet from Hurricane Sandy if each of us purchased a lure or two from him.Lets try to help out a fellow fishermen in a time of need.

Insurance claims are going to take a long time with all the claims being proccessed. Capt. Frank & Family need help now,no food and no cash to buy the food.No help from any resource so far.An online lure purchase will put funds in his account so he can buy gasoline to run his generator now with a Northeaster Storm coming Tuesday.

FEMA has tents and tables full of water, food and clothing at Midland Beach on Staten Island.

FEMA ran out of water on Saturday and isn't expected to get more water until Thursday at the earliest. They also are not giving away free gasoline on Staten Island and only a few gas stations are open where power has been restored. But to buy gasoline you need to have funds available. No gasoline for your generator,no heat unless you burn wood from destroyed homes.FEMA is not doing the job played by the media.

That just can't be right. My brother(major Liberal) said Obama was on top of this, and if there was a problem, he was taking calls directly and solving them personally. I'll try to get his cell number.

Way to bring a lack of class to a situation were people need help. Use your voice to vote not divert the focus from those in need. H

OK, I have a fun idea how to help this guy...but Steve and the guys at M1 will have to help just a little. I suggest everybody who wants to send a minimum $15.00 check to help this guy will get a chance to win a St. Croix Legend Tournament musky stick. Then, when the checks are all in (say two weeks) Steve can draw a winner, send 100% of the money to Staten Island, and then tell me the address of the winner. I will mail him/her their choice of a Big Nasty, Sling Blade, or Big Dawg. I hope that will get things rolling in the right spirit of helping a fellow angler in need!!

I would help Junkmans good idea and put in 6 custom baits for a package deal on the St. Croix. So now you get the rod and 6 custom baits. Meanwhile they will need some cash to get by till then.

Capt Frank & Family have recieved local help with food, water etc..Thanks to those who purchased baits to give him a little quick cash flow. The St. Croix Rod and custom bait offers were great ideas, but he had insurance and will recover most of his losses in time.Bait purchases have already made a difference and if a few more people buy baits that would be great.

Did it. Totally easy site to purcahse from. I picked two baits that are called "Old School Swimmers," sounded like a perfect match for an "Old Codger" like me. Clearly, there is a lot of luck in musky fishing...and trying a few baits from somebody who seems to really be able to benefit from the sale may prove to be "Good Luck!"

Glad to help. Some good looking popper lures. Can't wait to try them out next season - have had some good action on poppers before. In the meantime, I wish Capt. Frank and his family the best. Thanks to Capt. Larry for bringing this to our attention.
