What is the difference between the two? I see people always reference which year when selling so I presume there was a change (for the better?) made between the two years.

Location: Smith Creek		Guides, handle and blank changed. Power and action stayed the same.
Went to fuji's alconite tangle free k series guides from the fuji alconites, palming reel seat, longer fore cork, lighter spray painted blank with NSI or FRS resin.
I like it better. It really isn't THAT different.

Thanks great summary. I have the old one but felt like I was missing something. I hate to chase technology or the latest and greatest.....
