Now that the season is over for most of us what are you going to do different next year that you didn't do this year? For me as follows

1: Spend more time on LOTW,After fishing with Doug Johnson for a week this year I learned a lot about LOTW muskies plus the potential for a pig is soooo much better than any other place I have ever fished, we saw more fish 48 inches and up in one week than I have seen in the last 5 years totaled fishing N. Wisc.

2: Learn to make my own leaders, After losing a monster due to a leader problem making my own I will have more confidence not that they will be any better but if it does fail I will have no one to cuss at but myself.

3: Participate in more Muskie First outings, I Will be at the Sabaskong Bay outing! What a great bunch of folks we have here had the opportunity to meet and fish with some of you. Thanks for the company and the knowledge you shared with me.

IS IT SPRING YET???

John, I'm putting your #1 and #3 together as you being a real asset for us at Sab Bay. Glad you're coming. I'll not respond to your post's subject just yet (my answer right now would be: "catch my first muskie" but I've got the whole month of December to get that done) so I'll take a rain check. m[]

My big changes were made this year. It really paid off. I plan on refining my trolling even more and doing more shallow water trolling. Fishing a couple other lakes that I have only fished once each this year and take my kids to cananda.

Great question![:)]

I changed the location of my summer home from the south shore of Lac Vieux Desert to Lake of the Woods. I hope this will also change the number of fish in the boat.
