Has anyone had any dealings with Pro Mariner on bad chargers? Im wondering if they are worth contacting or if I am wasting my time. I have one that is about 5 years old that crapped out. I am hoping to get it repaired or maybe a new or recondition one if they will pro rate it.

Check that it's not just the inline fuses, it may be a simple fix. That said , I'm on my 3rd one. Cabelas has exchanged it for a new one two times, since it has their name on it, it's warranted for a long time.

Good luck. 5 years would be several past the warranty. I had one go on my last boat twice in the 5 years I had it.

Guest or Minn Kota for my future chargers.

when i bought mine, i think 2006 it had a lifetime warranty....I know they have since changed that but I believe they will honor the warranty at time of purchase...I've had mine run flawlessly for 6 yrs and it gets used.... a lot! I'd buy another Pro Mariner...I have the Pro tournament 150....

I also had 2 of the pro mariner onboard chargers. I believe they were the 20 models. They both were great when they worked but that wasn't very often. I had 1 bank go out on both of them. I broke down and spent the money on a "DUAL PRO" charger. So far so good with it.

Talked with Pro Mariner today. The units carry a "Limited Lifetime Warranty". Key word here being limited. The unit can be shipped back to them (at customers expense). They will access whether it can be repaired or not. If it is beyond repair which is the case with my unit, they will offer a pro rated discounted price on a new unit.
