| I fish mostly warm water in the south. Recently the highs have been in the upper 70s which has made the water temps rise into the low 60s, does this have a negative impact on the flshing in late october? I havent even seen a fish the last couple times Ive gone out. Fyi I fish smaller rivers with a max depth of about 25ft if that changes anything. | |

| It could be totally different down South, but where I do most of my fishing in N WI, a nice steady cooldown is what you want. A warm day here or there isn't going to kill you, but if you have a few days of really warm temps, enough to rasie the water temp a few degrees, it's like the kiss of death, especially right around the time where the sucker bite is turning on when the water cools down to the high 50's. | |
