Location: Minnesota | i had a crestliner cmv 1850 with a yamaha f150 i loved the boat but i did not have the dual console.crestliner makes a good boat.i would look in to the 115 johnson. i have a few guys at work and the oil pump went out. and they ended up mixing there gas it was to much to fix . other then that sounds like a good price.

Location: Racine, Wi | I run a 1750 single console and like it. It handles rough water relatively well (although, it is a lighter boat, so drifts fast unless loaded with fuel). The storage is a bit wet, but there's lots of deck space and good storage. Not sure about the Johnson (mine has a yammy on it). Overall it's a good boat. For $8,000 not a bad deal, but check the engine good.

right now i am running 1989 tracker 175 xl bass boat with a 50hp mer. boat don't handle good at all and with 15 mpr winds i can troll without the motor on. great to fish from in less there is wind. was hoping the 1750 handles better and doesn't get pushed around as much.
it's from a private seller but being sold at a marina. the marina owner said both motor checked out and was originally asking $9,995 for it.
also looking at a 2006 lowe's fishing machine 175 with a 90 elpto mercury for $8,700. |

| I run a newer 1750 Fish Hawk single console. Not sure how much has changed from 2003 to my 2010, but the boat fishes well. IMO it is about the most versatile for a 17.5 ft aluminum boat. It does just about everything pretty well. The best thing you can do aside from the above is to get in the thing to get a feel for the lay out. |

Location: Hayward, WI | I think 2003 still had the wood compartment doors, make sure they are all still solid and not warped or soft. Make sure that the bolts in the transom are all tight and still sealed, Crestliner does not use treated wood and if the transom leaks at all the wood can rot out quite quickly. |

Location: plant earth | i own a 2005 single counsel and love it easy to trailer around. has crestliner spray inside all bins love the layout. mine only has a 75 mercury 4 stroke a bit under powered in my opinion. handles big water very well. easy to work on if you add any goodies. sounds like a good price if motor is in good shape. |

| I had an 02 1850 single councel, big deck with lots of storage. The floor started to go to #*#* which is why I traded it in. I know several people with cresty's that have had the same issue. I really like the boat and it fished well, handled most water very well, did get pretty wet when the wind was big. I don't have any personal experience with Lowe's but I was told when I was boat shopping before I got the fishawk that they weren't very well built, that was sevral years ago now. Just my two cents. |
