Has anyone ever had to make an access hole in the front of this boat? The whole front of the boat is sealed up.

You can access it through the storage tube holes if it's a later model, or remove the front deck cap.

Yes. The dry storage tubes in the front deck cap, not the rod locker tubes.

I do not have that option on my boat, its a 2007, I took it into a shop and they said the only way in is to cut an access hole

Shop? A Tuffy dealer? Where are you located?

You can access the bow eye bolts by removing the front deck cap.

Take the boat to Marine Diversified in Burlington, just over the Wisco border. You can reach Mike at 2622063045. He will help you.

If you don't have a cover yet, look into the covers while you are there. Great custom fit covers for the Tuffy line at a really decent price.

Any idea how much a cover would be for a 95 Tuffy Esox Ltd. (tiller) ?

Mike from Marine Diversified is bowhunting this Friday through Monday, but will have his cell along, if he doesn't answer he'll get back to you.

It sounds like Steve has you squared away, but just wanted to mention that "cutting an access hole" isn't as bad as what it sounds.
Cut a nice clean round hole, the size needed to fit a deck plate over it, and you're good to go.
