Went up there from Oct 4 to the 6 and it was bruetal snow, rain, wind and cold did'nt move a fish at all until this pig showed herself. She came up on my #13 and missed the bait out in front of the boat and came back on my buddies bulldawg and that wraps it up. She came in the net good and took off strong.

Congrats on the pig.
My buddy and I were up as well. Fished Friday evening, Saturday all day and 5 hours today.
Saw 1 giant come in and missed the blades on the second turn of an 8 from deep- he never saw her coming and was well into his 2nd 8 when she came almost straight up from 12 feet of water.
We actually thought the weather was kind of balmy-- if you were a polar bear
It will be interesting to hear how the outing a Vermilion Dam Lodge went.

Later
