| Musky Fever...the white stuff is coming down in Indiana too. Darn new wife has been putting the clamp on my fishing trips recently, so i really want to get out. but,i think i remember from a few months ago, you have a problem keeping the women around too w/ all your musky endevors! women, can't live with 'em, can't live with 'em.[:sun:]

there aren't even any more snow mobile shops here in town anymore, hardly any in the north part of the state either. We use to have between 20 and 40 days a year of "snowmobileable" weather, but w/ all the global warming? El Nino? whatever, we can't even guarantee snowmobiling for one day every year now, weird, but true.
one good thing about the warming...lakes stay open for a long time or may not freeze over all year! |

There was enough snow to ride in Mokena, IL....I just got home and we got more where I live.....Close to 5"..........I can't believe it. Tape measure said 5". I'm going back to Mokena, bringing my sled back to Lemont, and gonna ride til I run out of gas!
Man it was awesome to get riding again!!!!

| You know what.....after tonight.....I'm gonna miss goin up north, but I Love the snow. Put on some miles on the sled tonight. The boat is still cleaned up and ready to go if need be. The great thing about the sport of muskie fishing is that southern states have managed their waters to inhibit muskies! So no worries, ToddM...... Kincaid, Cave Run, Green River.....Depending on where you live, muskie waters are right around the corner, even when we're snowmobiling up North! |

| Commanche Jim, I am a flatlander and can only do day trips untill next memorial day.
Ponds are freezing up around here which means most likely the launches where i fish will be as well. [:((] |
