Hey just wanted to let everyone know that this weekend is the first ever Lake St. Clair casters tournament. It will be this Saturday and Sunday hosted by our local muskies inc chapter. Its $55 entry fee per person and is 100% payout. Its going to be a very good time with hopefully all of the casters and jiggers on the lake participating and helping to grow the event. Also if you are trying to learn more about trying to cast/jig St. Clair this will be a great chance to learn the lake and see how the winning fish where caught Sunday at the awards. Hope to see you all there.

Can't wait! It's going to be a great time as have the previous tourneys! (Angler's Point, the host of the event, put on a couple other tourneys in the past and Muskies Inc. Ch.58 had one on the opener this year, which was also hosted by Anglers Point) See ya there!!!!

I assume Zib will be winning this "So easy a cave man can do it" right?
Zib would have won it had he been in the tourney.
I haven't fished or caught a musky since August 12th. Not sure if I will even fish at all the rest of the year. I would have fished the tourney but other obligations prevented me from doing so. I originally thought the tourney was held by Angler's Pointe not Muskies Inc. The casting tourneys held by Angler's Pointe in the past had screwed up rules which kept other guys including myself out of the tourney.
I was glad to see Jason win it. A troller winning a casting tourney probably peeed off some of the casters.

Congrats to the winners! I was trolling out there that day myself. Don't know much about casting down there but have a casting day booked with a guide for next Saturday.
