| I have a 18 foot Predator and I have the Ram Rod Holders mounted on the sport trak. I am heading to Vermillion in about a month and will probably be trolling some big jakes and grandmas.
Am I playing with fire using these to pull the big cranks. If so don't the clamp on Down Easters scratch the heck out of the boat? | |

| I use the Ram mounts on my sport trac and have not had any issues. I caught a 44 trolling a shallow invader and it worked fine.
