| Noticed that one of my A/R sleeves has a series of dents in it running vertical around the whole length of the sleeve, almost like the bearings have dug into the sleeve.
Obviously the sleeve needs to be replaced, but what causes that? Never seen that on any of my other reels. |

One of the rollers has dug in on the sleeve, maybe the AR Bearing was dry ?????
or you use that reel for your jerk baits ??? if you do try thumbing the spool when jerking, that will save the AR bearing from heavy loads.
I alway replace the A/R Sleeves when I replace the A/R Bearing on any reel, that is a must on Daiwa Luna reels and St Croix. |

| Abu. I do use that reel for ripping Grandmas and Depth Raiders, and I do tend to set the hook pretty hard on boatside fish. Seems strange that the bearings would dig into the sleeve like that...
