Location: Glen Ellyn Il | Going to Canada LOTW in about a week with my friends, made them some glide baits. This new hobby for me it has been really a lot of fun, its hard to stay away from the basement, I just love it. It really a lot of fun to build a bait from scratch and than weight it, paint sealed and go fishing. It puts a smile on my face every time I make a bait, due to I really did not think I could do this, aguess never think you can't until you try. I am semi retired so I have the time to do it, I am glad that I found some to do with my retirement years

Location: WV | Great looking baits -- I really like those paint jobs. Best of luck in the water, hope something eats them!
What's their action like? |

Location: Glen Ellyn Il | Hey thanks for your kind words Rem 308
The action is really great. I spent a lot of time reading on Muskie First and another site called Tackle Underground they have a wealth of information on weigting glide baitsl. I use the Archimedes system. It is very simple and easy to do, with minimum of equipment
Thanks again, that sure builds my confidence
Good fishing Gino |
