Anyone have a Garmin eTrex camo model that can offer some insight as to it's performance? I just bought one and didn't want to get an elaborate GPS as I won't be using it much as some of you do.
Thanks,

I have the non camo one (yellow) its the same model though. It is very, very easy to use. I use it to tell me my speed when trolling and to mark points on lakes. It will store hundreds of points. Also, it will show your tracks, which is good to find where i haven't trolled when on small lakes. Let me know if you have any other questions on it.

Thanks Zach,
I haven't had much time to do anything with it ( I've hard it a week now ) other than to put the batteries in it. Took it outside and turned it on and let it "find" where I am from the Sats up there, So now that it has itself located in this world it is a matter of taking it out this week end to play. Can I get the mapping cd for it for downloading maps of topography or oceangraphic fo this model? so I can print out my maps after I mark my trails?

I believe you can get maps and such for it. You need to buy a cable to hook up between the gps and the computer. I think the instruction book or something else that came with it has info on that.
