Just a quick heads up if you have purchased any BP gas the past week in the Chicago/NW indiana/ SE Michigan area. Evidently some bad gas got out there and is causing engine issues. I purchased gas last night Not too far from the Michigan Indiana border and now my check engine light is on. Filled up twice after that on my way home today and no change with the engine light. So...we'll see where I can go from here after contacting BP tomorrow.
If you have run into something like this in the past few days and you bought BP gas, they ask you call customer service at (800) 333-3991 6 AM to 6 PM CST.
