Location: McGuire AFB, NJ | Hey guy's,
Had some fun with this last fall. Busted out the musky baits on the Delta. Caught some nice bass on walk the dog baits (jackpot, xrap, super spook) and 1.5/2.0 oz spinnerbaits. You should have seen the looks on peoples face's haha. Priceless....
What other musky baits have you guy's stuck some big bass on?

| On one of my local lakes the Smallies LOVE double 10's, I catch a bunch of them every year, even real small ones. For some reason I have never caught a largemouth on one, just smallies. For largmouth nothing beats a weagle for me. I catch a couple hogs by accident every year on weagles or other large WTD lures. |

Location: Wakefield, MI | Don't know what it's called but I caught a 22" 5lb 8oz Largemouth on a lure that looks like a pike, about 10" or 11" long with 4 joints. Big spinners will get a bass every once in a while too.
I've also been hooked into some big muskies on a Beetle Spin. My dad caught a big bluegill on a double buzz bait. |

Location: Mauston, Wisconsin | If you're after big bass, go with muskie size creeper's at sunset or after dark- right along shoreline with `10-20 sec retrieve pauses every 10-20 ft. You will be surprised, they hit just after the pause on the first bait movement! What a hoot! I have caught 10 lb bass at 3:00AM her in Central WI. Needless to say I had the water to myself. My most productive bait - Heddon Crazy Crawler. I wouldn't hesitate to use a Creeptonite or a Lee Tauchen Chopper for really big bass water.
Have fun!

| I always wanted to fish a micro dawg for bass.....
Around here bass are pressured BIG time. I'll bet there are lots of smaller musky offerings that would work just because it's something different. Micro Dawg and 7" Suick come to mind.

| my biggest bass was on a 6in jake but did get a largemouth on a mag dawg. Dogboy was there to see it. Funny thing is i was just asking him if he had ever heard of someone getting a bass on a mag dawg. 5min later boom largemouth. It was pretty funny. I have to tell you thou they call me the bassmaster when im musky fishing. Kind of a running joke. |

| Almost all of them. I remember one September catching big, fat smallies down in 30' of water on 7" Reapers for a solid week. 30-50 fish a day.
I remember one spring catching a 42" muskie on a 4" ringworm, and a 27" walleye on a Suick on the same day. |

| have taken largemouth bass on the Drifter Stalker trolled and casted; and on the Mag. Mepps Muskie Killer tandem. Nice fish. Took an aggressive smallmouth on a trolled 8" Depthraider--Chartreuse Pikie, works every time. Have also taken smallmouth on the Drifter Stalker and an 8" Believer. But the most interesting bass occurrence was about an 8 pound largemouth who came out of no where to hit the mid-section of a 7" Bomber Long A. Problem was that there was no treble hook there. Trophy bass escapes. Darn. |

Location: Lake "y" cause lake"x" got over fished | Was out fishing with a buddy during the night bite, and we were getting all sorts of bass taps on our lures. I had multiple on my topraider, just never hooked any. At one point my buddy felt a hit and reeled up a less 1lb bass that he caught on a supermodel.... the bait was three times the size of the fish, god bless the over agressive bass. |

all of them
All of them for sure. I boated at least 7 bass LY between 5 lbs and 7 lbs while muskie fishing last year. A buddy caught a 24" 8lbr in my boat on a 10" suick on Oct 30th while we were muskie fishing. It makes the bass guys go crazy and cry when you tell them. They sit there with their 4" senko wacky worms on their hooks and say they never catch em that big. They're all confused... |

| My biggest LM on a musky lure was a 23 incher on a 7.5 inch Phantom.
Tied for my biggest LM ever, but a minor dissapointment because on the previous cast I had a mid-40 inch musky swing and miss on the same lure in almost the exact same location.
