| You will learn that no two lures run exactly the same, I have had the Newer version of any lures run different and catch more fish than the originals, which are very sought after.....So you just have to find one that runs good and does what you want it to do and work it. Examples are Newer Suicks, Newer Sledges, Newer Weagles, etc etc. Some newer lures run great and some don't regardless of how you try and tweek it. Just like the ones made 6-16 years ago some work for you and some don't. You must Pick and choose......with lures |

Wrong. The Suick Weagles run as well as any of the older ones I have and there's little if any difference from a Mojo Weagle that runs well; most importantly, they catch fish. One thing you will find is the new Weagles run well consistently.
I have ALLOT of Weagles all the way back to the first ones built. I use the Suicks now, and for good reason. Retired the rest except for a couple customs I pull outta the box now and again that Beav did for me. |

| They can not be different as the blanks are made by the same place (even when Cady made them) out of the same wood (each piece of wood is different) but are sealed with better product and clear coated with better product (same amount also).
Just another bait maker that knows. |

| Slime King - Yep, they started out weighing the maple and using the light ones for Weagles. All Mojos were poplar. Blanks were made by the same company though. |

| the suik's one run higher on the water that's the reason why i prefer the one made by mojo.but if you ask me the cady(maple) beat them all........ |

It took several of the old maple Weagles to get one I liked. I like every one I have from Suick, and they don't run 'high' in the water at all. Plenty of 'swoosh' and easy to run and control.
And the question was between Mojo and Suick.

Location: Antigo WI | We usually do not say too much on these threads but after reading some of the comments posted I think I should clarify a few questions regarding Mojo vs. Suick Weagles. The same manufacturer that made Mojo Weagle blanks is currently making Suick Weagle blanks out the exact same material, so there should be absolutely no difference in how the lure performs. All of the component parts including hooks are also the same. We have made a vast improvement to the finish on the Weagle, and that is the only change we have made at this time. It is our goal to keep the function of the lure the same, and only improve durability.
Thank you

| Great bait! I have a few too many older Weagles. I also have purchased the Suick Weagles. Suick does a excellent job of making a excellent high quality product EVERY time out of the box. Older Weagles? Haha I for one never want to re-live those days again. Wait... The fishing part i wouldn't trade for anything. Certain "NUT" Weagles were and still are simply magical. Why? Hehehe. The guy who made them.
