Are there any guides on just the us side? Don't have a passport to fish Canada.

Spencer or another guy is Kevin Long. Whoever you hire make sure they have one of these posted.

Proves they are state licensed, insured, have a USCG license and are usually serious about guiding. $1000 fine if they don't have one.

If you can fish with Jon Bondy. It's simple and easy crossing to meet him and well worth it. If you can't travel into Canada for other reasons then I understand but you can't go wrong with a guy like Jon whos got 18+ years fishing this system. I've Gerard amazing things about Kevin Long too. The guy boats fish constantly just is more quiet about it. Good luck with your choice!!

Thanks Scott. All I have in Dec dates left and I have the feeling winter is going to come early with all the cold fronts that started coming through in mid July this year instead of mid August like usual. So may not even be able to get out by then...

I agree Jon! Another decent drop in temp tonight. Fall's coming fast and winter seems like its coming faster than I want! That's okay I'll be chasing Tarpon with Muskie gear in early December! It could be a short fall fishing season....
