havent been up to hayward area for 2 weeks now, busy working but throughout july almost everything i was catching was gold or walleye dawgs ripping through the weeds. had to make contact with weeds to get bit. most bites on deep weed edge. let me know how you do.

I will be heading up to Lost Land and Teal this weekend. I had planned on fishing weed edges and humps but have never fished the lakes before so if there are any patterns or locations that work well on the lakes I would appreciate the tips.

Not much to write home about, unfortunately. Moved a couple gooduns off of a hump that topped off at 15 feet from 30ft. Hit shallower humps and the weed edges too, no dice, but I still think your best shot is keep to your plan, it's solid. Good luck on your trip!
