I fish and boat in the upper niagara river and mouth of lake erie. and i always do well catching large and smallmouth bass, but i was hoping you guys could give me some tips on drifting for musky, or just any tips at all, i know alot about fishing, but not to much about techniques for muskies, i have heard about red October tube jigs and how well they work around my area but i have no idea how to rig them

Do you live near Buffalo ? If yes, make a plan to visit one of the Niagara Musky Association meetings at the VFW in North Tonawanda. They are very nice guys and they will probably give you lots of help, as they did for me when I lived in E. Aurora. They have outings on the upper Niagara & elsewhere in the area. Introduce yourself & tell them you want to learn techniques for Niagara muskies. Ask to meet Hans, he can help you with rigging & using the Red October tubes.
