| On an average day how much would you spend in expenses? Gas Food Lodging? Just wondering what other people are spending? |

| Another one of those questions I don't want to know the answer to! but I know where every dollar I spend goes (accounting program) - Looking at the last three years - If i average it out its right @ $80 per 10 hr of fishing - I fish 350-400 hours a year. This is gas, food and lodging only (includes splitting gas for truck and boat on long trips).... Boat and truck, insurance, baits, boat maintenance/repairs, rods and reels are thousands more per year.. at least I'm not a drug addict ...worse for my health,..but probably cheaper! |

Location: La Crosse, WI | Average trip for me costs about $50 in gas there and back. I don't consider food and drinks into the equation since you have to do both even if you don't go fishing. If you don't count all the gear its pretty inexpensive. You can't take your money with you and I figure you might as well spend it on the things you enjoy. |

Does this include the beer that you have donated to the cause? |

Location: Wakefield, MI | I drive between 10 and 40 miles to get to most of the lakes I fish, so maybe average $15 to $20 bucks in gas a trip. A tank of gas in my outboard goes bad before I use it all, so that's nothing (use maybe a half tank a year). Usually have a cigar or two from the gas station, maybe $3, a pasty from the bakery is $3.25 and I'll have one of those if I'm out all day, and I have 2 water jugs I fill so nothing there.

| I spend $5 if that... I live a mile from the boat landing, and once I get the boat in It's maybe another mile from there...This is all based on an average evening tho...I typically only fish about 3 hours a night. |

Haha beer is cheap and when I'm donating that, I'm spending very little on gas. |

Location: Kansas City BBQ Capitol of the world | Where I live Im about 3 hours to the closest Muskie Lakes. The average trip is around $115+ dollars is gas. An 0330 to 0430 wake up, a 3 hour drive there, 6 to 8 hours of fishing and then a 3 hour drive back and 12 to 14 hours later popping a cold one resting my back at home.
It sucks but I love it! |
