| I'm wondering if anyone would be willing to share some info on this lake. I will be in the area and I'm looking to do some musky fishing on Alexander. Any info would be appreciated! Thanks |

| It used to be really good!! Not so much anymore, but there are still plenty of fish in the lake. Pretty much the whole lake has a milfoil line at 8-12 ft so not much left for good cabbage beds but if you find isolated patches growing within the milfoil, definitely fish those. Personally, I'd fish suspended. |

Location: St.Cloud | I do well fishing the suspended humps and islands or keep the boat in 20 feet casting shallow and ur bound to see fish.

| Open water on the East end is really good around the midlake humps. Trolling mid-day is a good tactic.
Otherwise casting the edges like previously mentioned is good.
The water is gin clear so cloudy skies or wind definitely help. Using topwater in the open water areas has produced most of my bigger fish out there. |

| They poisoned a lot of areas with milfoil this year. So there are some weed beds without it. |

| Thanks for the info! I have had trouble finding a contour map of the lake. Any ideas? |

Location: Musky Tackle Online, MN | The DNR's Lake Finder site has lake maps for most lakes in the state. Here's the one for Alexander.
