Location: London, England | I'm looking for suggestions for baits that will troll 25ft+ on 65lb line. Ideally the bait would have a body size of about 7-9". I had a River Run Shark that was perfect, but after a fish hit it it went out of tune and no matter where I bent the lip to it wouldn't work again. |

Location: Appleton | I'd try a Big game Scuba diver in 7.5" or Slammer 7" deep divers. The scuba will have no issues getting down deep. |

| If I am trolling deep and need to get a bait down. The 7.5" scuba diver from Big Game is my go to lure. They dive deep have great action and are very durable they can take a pounding. have done very well on them. They are good for casting also
good luck

Location: Bemidji, Lake Vermilion | How deep do you want to go and how much line out do you want to get there? Supernaturals and Headlocks have adjustable pins in the lips and can get really deep if you want to. Personally, I don't go that deep as the golden rule is don't go below the fish, and even if you're 15 ft above them that is only one or two flicks of a tail and the fish is on the bait. I get about 12ft down on only 40ft of line, just above 3mph with both of these baits set on the shallowest setting. |

Location: Kingston, Ontario | Ernies and Squirelly Ernies claim to get down to 30ft but I've found bottom out at about 25-26ft.
Had a nice 40" on the weekend on a squirelly ernie bouncing the bottom at about 20ft. Unfortunately the bait will not run true anymore. |

Location: Sycamore, IL | FYI-Rapala makes a Mag 30 X-rap that runs true at high speeds. Yozuri also makes some saltwater trolling cranks that would fit the bill...

Location: Apollo, PA | Tough to beat Hosebaits, Supernaturals and Bretts Baits. Kyle is running a sale on Hosebaits and Supernaturals at Bigwoods, Bretts r much tougher to get... Well, thats my two cents. |

Location: London, England | Just to update. I ordered a couple of Scubas from Tony. (what a nice helpful man) and they look absolutely fantastic. Really appreciate his willingness to help and supply a couple of great looking baits. Not had a chance to run them yet, as conditions don't suit the approach at the moment, but can't wait to show them to some toothy fish soon! |
