the clips that come with the church boards will not hold much...they hardly will hold a depth raider, i contaced church tackle to see what the deal was or if they had any recommendations for a different clip i could buy and they said just to tighten the eye.. tightened the eye and made no difference. they didnt have any other suggestions so &*^$ out of luck i guess....arghh

You shouldn't have any problems with the OR18 snaps on an Offshore board. I've used them for 10" Jakes & Believers, and 12" Big Games.

Tighten clip fully and use half hitch in your mainline round one jaw of clip, alternatively fit the clips facing the boards not outwards.
Both methods you gonna have to remove the board on the way in, don't go down your line better like that anyways

The yellow offshore boards work nice but will not pull out much with hard pulling baits. Offshore also makes a Stripper/Salmon board and that works better. The best board that I found that will pull out to the side with hard pulling baits is the large Yellow Bird, but I did not like the Yellow Bird clips so I would use a large split ring and electrical tape and attach the Offshore OR-18 clip. Looks a little funny but it works good.

I was planning to buy these clips for use on the Church TX 44 boards:

Anybody have any experience with these for hard pulling cranks?
