| Is there a story behind what happened to that fish's tail? There isn't much fin left and there is a deep looking mark just in front of it.
Big fish, but a very strange tail fin. |

| I don't know what could have done that to the tail. Almost looks like it was in another fish's mouth for a while. If so, I want GPS coordinates!
Anyone else venture a guess? I originally thought that maybe the line wrapped around the tail to cause that deeper looking mark, but it is too wide. Net looks really good, so I don't think the net would have done damage like that.
Would rocks have done that?
Either way, great fish! |

| Nice fish! Congrats!
Looks like someone put a dog-collar on that fish's tail and tied it to a tree for a day or two! (my comment is all in jest of course... )

| I was wondering if there may have been a musky tournament about to take place on that lake...and it had been tied up by the tail with a rope! That's what it looks like to me.
Either way, nice fish! |

| other side of tail was fine , so not tied up and swam away fine .... |

| funny stuff... is it that hard to believe that the fish was hit by a prop on a boat?
