| I like the layout of the Tuffy 1700 tiller, the 1760 is nice but a bit too big for me. I hear mixed reviews on the 1700 maxed out with a 60 hp - that its too underpowered. Would like to hear some opinions from people that know. I really like the size and floor plan of the 1700 tiller and know a guy looking to sell. It has a 60 hp EFI 4 stroke. I don't need to go real fast (30 mph?) but I do need to get out of the hole with 2 guys, sometimes 3. Will it work? Honest opinions please. Thanks for any input... |

| I ran a 1700 with 60hp 2 stroke. The boat ran fine, it is not super fast. I think I got around 30-32, but that was same if it was just me or two of us with gear. It is a great fishing boat for big and small water. BR |

| How do you order casting deck, or have it made after market, cost, etc?
Sworrall, your thoughts on 1700 tiller and 60 hp?
Thank you |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | the casting deck can be bought from any Tuffy dealer. The 1700 with a 4 stroke Merc tiller needs to be propped right, and runs fine. |
