I was doing some pricing out this weekend for a Lund 1825 Pro Guide rigged with a 90 Yamaha, and told the dealer I would like Titan steering installed. Finished up talking and the manager of the store came back and said, we don't have any Titan steering systems and they are no longer available. He also claimed the system had recently been bought out. I hope it isn't true.

Now I haven't heard anything about this, and figured someone on here knew something or even may know what exactly is going on there.

I'm really hoping to get assisted steering for my Yamaha.

Anybody know any info?

Thanks,
Brad

Try calling them directly. I have a Titan system on my Pro Guide and it would be a shame if it's no longer available.

The Merten's Power Steering (for use on up to 150hp) was bought a in late 2009 or early 2010 (?) by Mercury and taken off the market since they have a proprietary system of their own.

Merten's also makes the Titan steering (for use on up to 115hp). This is still available as far as I'm aware. I know of someone who bought a Titan system last month.

Thanks guys for the replies. Like I was pricing out a new boat, and I ended up finding a used one, and am going with that.

I know Mercury has thier own power steering system, and its fully hydraulic. But its spendy. Can I still do a titan system on a mercury 90?
