I know I can burn DSGs with my Curado 300. How about the JR DCG? They both have #8’s but what’s this ‘Magnum Blade’??

The magnum one is much bigger than the colorado blade, so the pressure is 10 times higher than with colorados.
A 300 curado will work, but not confortable and not for a long time.

Jr's have "Magnum 8" (#9) blades.

I see. 'magnum 8' = #9 . That's kinda confusing.

I had no problems burning Jr. Double Cowgirls with my Curado 300s. Burned em last year for the first time on Cedar Lake, and when the smoke from the forest fires made a mess of fishing I got bored and started tweaking them. I replaced the dangling, middle treble hook with a single hook. They run a whole lot better this way, (nice swirling wake the flutters the skirt neatly), and they don't turn into such a gob of hair. One might argue I decreased my hook-set odds by about 33%, but I think they run better this way. We'll see in about two weeks!
