| MN has there deer opener this weekend, WI is on the 23rd. Are you going to be wetting a line or firing rounds.[;)]
I think I am going to wait for the last three days of the WI 9 day gun season and try to get open lakes on opening day and open woods at end of the season. |

| I will be in my tower stand on the opener in Wisconsin. The first part of the week we will sit in the stands. By Friday, we will be still hunting public lands that do not get pressured, and maybe do a push or two, nice and quiet.
I love the hunt, so the deer will be getting undivided attention for a week.[:bigsmile:] |

| I will most likely be fishing for the WI deer opener. We found out in August that we lost our lease on the land we've been hunting for the past 12 years. Our access was blocked by the guy's uncle, so we have no way of getting into the land. So the owner leased it to the guys on the other side. That oughta PO his uncle. He hates those guys worse than us!
Might hunt on Thanksgiving Day at the mom-in-law's. Then on Friday, I hope to continue the tradition started with GregM last year, If he doesn't end up working!

| I gave up on muskies early this year after my worst seasons in 7 years.I will be out in the county forest on the 23rd and will glady shoot the first doe or buck that walks past me. |

Last year I was sitting in the woods on openning weekend listening to boats out on the lake and told myself it was my last time deer hunting.

| I'm taking the boat to deer camp this year. Hunt in the morning and fish in the afternoon. I'm the luckiest fool in the UP. |
