| My wife, two young children and I are looking to take a last minute trip Up North to the Vilas County, WI area next week. We'd be arriving the Saturday the 30th or Sunday the 1st and staying for a week. Any of you resort owners and/or cabin rental owners in the forum know of any availability? Ideally, we'd like to bring our two well trained dogs as well but we could also board them if need be. I know it's a long shot since it's one of the busiest weeks of the year but just thought I'd check. Thanks very much. I appreciate it.

| Hi there - I have a cabin located in Boulder Junction / Manitowish Waters area and just had a cancellation. Dog friendly (for your well trained dogs) good price for the week ($550). Guest's suggestion sounds great, but I saw your post and thought I'd give a tip for others reading the post. I just decided to do the same thing for a long weekend after the 4th. One website I found based on a client I have that uses it for their vacation house rentals:

What you can do is set up a search for "pet friendly", check in-check out dates in the region you are looking at, number of bedrooms, etc. I was able to find an off water pet friendly cabin for 3 days for $260, which at the end of the day I figure is cheaper and more comfortable than a motel room. They have availability schedules right in the search results if you specify dates.
