Which net?

I can't decide between the Frabill 8430 for $99 or the 8425 for $139. I think the hoop and handles are the same, with different bag material. Any preferences to which "netting" style to choose?

I think with $99 8430 is not bad.

Either one should be fine. I believe I have the 8430. Both seem to have the same hoop size. You may want to look at their replacement nets.

8430 - replacement net 4671 - 48" depth, 2" mesh - WTD tangle free

8425 - replacement net 4666 - 42" depth, 1 3/4 mesh - Knotless tangle free

Look them up for your self to see if there are any other differences. Hope that helps.

Definitely go with the 8425. The bag will last much longer and since it does not have knots, it should be easier on the fish.

I have the 8425 and love it.Not only is the knotless net easier on the fish but half the time it takes the hooks out for you and the netting is very strong compared to my old net.My old net I had a mid 40s fish blow right through and it wasn't even a season old.I like my frabil a lot.Russ
