| I just picked up three "R" Crankbaits. They are huge. Two of them are at least 15". One of them is double jointed, so it has three sections. It's about 17-19". It's a Jake/Grandma style lure.
Has anyone ever used these before?? What about catching fish on them?? I'm fishing tomorrow and will be trolling these monsters to see if I can pull a hawg from the deep.
I got them from Ebay, but does anyone know where they are made or where you can buy them?? |

Put the R cranks away and throw your 16" Deadhead! Damn dude you obsessed with them big lures! Mag dawgs, Deadheads, Plows, just remember G$'s 51" came on the med. dawg! Wishin I was fishin!

I know G$'s hawg came on a walleye lure....but that's his Jones. I'm not obsessed with huge baits...just huge fish. I got these three huge lures for like $26 with shipping. HAD TO BUY 'EM FOR THAT!!!
Yeah, all the fish down here are getting fat. All suspended about 15 feet down in open water around schools of perch and shad. I'm gonna bust those schools up tomorrow when I troll these hawg lures through 'em.
I'll bring these things to the Chicago Swap Meet. Wait until you see 'em. They are awesome. I might not take my boat out of the water all year...we'll see. If you need to Jones, come on down and we'll hit KY with Brother Bob and Tony...we'll stop by the pawn shop first so that we can look propa' like with our own Starter Kits.
Make sure you drop me a line when you move North. I'll be stopping by this winter to hang and bang on the ice this year....no excuses. |
