Yet again, another first muskie for a youngster... but I gotta share

Yesterday, I caught my first muskie, a 40 incher at a secret lake in Michigan. It took me two-and-a-half years, but I got it done. Some of you may recall my story from a previous post earlier this year entitled "How Long Did it Take You to Get your First?" Well, it took long enough lol

I'm definitely hooked for life (hooked even more).

Congrats, I haven't caught one in a month and I'm thinking about giving up. Nice fish. Stack your money before you know it your boat will be full of stuff you won't ever use but just want.

Congrats on your 1st muskie! Keep that picture forever. My wife actually got me a framed picture of my 1st muskie (a 41"er from LOTW 13 years ago) for Father's day to hang in my office!

Don't say for life. You may get over it. Don't sacrifice too much to do it. Still, that is a nice fish. Your success should increase from knowledge gained from time on the water. Hard experience teaches the deepest lessons.
