I am looking to purchase a Creeper that consistently catches muskies on calm summer nights. What color and type of Creeper do you suggest?

not sure if he is making them any more but a BS willy jointed creeper runs pretty good... i started using the "Lil Creeper" that monster lures makes last year and I like it a lot.... fish like it too.

I'd find one with stainless steel wings and black in color. I've been using a lee lures and like it.

Rylure Creeper has produced more fish for me than any other. I have also had good luck with a Joel Wick jointed, Ev Tesch creepers, and the old lelure fetch and catch. Those are my favs, but topped by the rylure as I can order it to my specific size/needs. The problem is he takes seemingly forever to get a lure done quite often. The wait is worthwhile but just get the lure, then send him the money.

Yep good luck with that. Being President of the BS Willy fan club and I don't even get an answer from him and that was last March.

Get a hold of Randy Pfaffert, down by the Extreme One. I don't have his contact info handy, he makes a very limited supply of really great creepers. Helped me 3-peat in the MI Top Water Challenge the last 3 years.

I picked up some creepers on the Chippewa Flowage at one of the resorts that were made by Bob Alitz, I think his name was. They work for me. I think Gerard, you may have one of those hanging in your garage

A couple of years ago I picked up a nimmer swimmer creeper and have had several swims and misses from very large fish, no hook ups yet but at least they are trying to eat it. Also seen the creepenstein do some work. I would definetly look at either of those. If you can get your hand on an Oxley creeper (shhhh!) I would.

Saw a vid Drifter put on their Facebook of a Creeptonite, so I'm guessing they're going to be making those. I have 3 of them but I'm saving 2 of em' for when my good when is trashed.
