Location: N.FIB | I put that hi seas on one of my reels,it seemed comparable to masterbraid, but just because they sold doesn`t mean it won`t be made anymore |

Location: Hayward, WI | Hopefully whoever they sold to keeps making it and doesn't change anything. I've used 832 with good luck too but I really like Masterbraid. |

| i've tried many different braids over the years but not masterbraid and they all had "issues" as far as i was concerned. this spring i spooled up two of my reels with the yellow power pro super slick and so far it has been fantastic compared to all others i have tried. absolutely no color bleeding, it is absolutely the driest line i have ever used, it is incredibly quiet and it casts like a dream...i'm just sayin... |

I shouldnt have gone with green then I guess. I put 80 lb green on all three rigs and it is looking pale and starting to hold water. I'm also noticing some fuzzing. I have been hitting it hard this year(50-60 hours). I'm still happy with it but it is not much of a improvement over the old power pro |

| Where did you hear that Cortland has been sold? I haven't seen anything about this yet and a search only brought up a 2008 sale. |

compared to your 50-60 i've only got about 30 hours on mine so maybe i spoke too soon...time will tell. when i said no bleeding i meant no horror stories like others have said about other lines ending up with red / yellow hands / rods / reels. there may be just barely a hint of paleness showing on the yellow but i can live with that, i am much more concerned about the quietness and super dryness and lack of fraying for me so far... |
