I am heading up to northern Wisconsin in two weeks. Plan on fishing a bunch of lakes but want to fish Crab a decent amount. I've fished it before and know its a dangerous lake but I know it kicks out some nice fish. Just wondering if anyone has any input what/where to fish on the lake. Any info is appreciated.

Location: Not far enough north!
I have not been there in a while but I like the downed timber in the neckdown right by the launch. Also one of my favorite areas is milwaukee bay. I like the entrance and the lilly pads in the back. There was a mean mid forties fish that likes those pads she came out after a pacemaker and sat under the boat and came out at mach 1 as the bucktail in the front of the boat came in for the eight. Stick her if you can...

the southernmost bay in the lake usually holds fish early in the year, there is some cabbage in the southeast corner of that bay. was up that way on another lake in the area two weeks ago and the fish were already on wind blow rock points and shorelines but crab is usually one of the last lakes in the area to get in the swing of things
