Location: La Crosse, WI | Hey guys, looking for some information in the Blue Diamond area in Rusk/Chippewa County in Wisconsin. I've had some success on Fireside, Amacoy, Sand, Potatoe and Round. I use to live in Eau Claire but took a job in LaCrosse, so the drive up there is somewhat of a trip. | Most of the lakes have been ok but I wouldn't waste my time on Amacoy unless you want to troll. Loved the lake until last year they decided to kill all the weeds with chemicals. Was there last week and same results as last year. Pond weed,cabbage,coontail,millfoil all gone. The power of a lake association. My favorite now is the Island chain. Lower long has been doing good over the last few years also with big fish.Hope this helps and let me know when you are coming up and will try to help more | |
