How late in the year do you "night fish".
I know guys that will literally fish all night during the summer. Does fishing at night produce as well into the fall?? If so how late into the year do you continue to do so?

I don't know about the rest of the folks but I always make sure to check the first hour of dark at least and in the summer and early fall fish well into the night. Once we hit the turnover period that all changes, at that point I lose all confidence in fishing the night shift. I don't know that the fish aren't still on a night bite, but I lose all confidence and usually have my boat on a trailer right after sunset. Probably has something to do with the lack of sun, cool temperatures and the thought of a warm truck waiting for me.

This picture is not what your going expect. Set all them musky magazines aside. Everything you've ever heard or felt. The truth is in the picture. Current conditions are at 28 degree air temps with 42 degree water temps at 8:45 pm. Caught on topwater (jackpot to be specific)worked very erratically. Notice the rosey cheaks and the heavey clothing. Yes there was a salt shaker on board also. And I only needed one rod on board.

Today we boated a fish near dark and lost one and three other rips after dark. 48 degree water temps.
