Hello, I have an older Ranger net with the basic nylon netting.

Im looking to replace the netting with a frabill or Beckman.

Is this even possible?

How are nets measured, left to right then top to bottom?

Mine is 34x 32 and a triangle.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

You need two measurements. The first measurement is across the widest part of the hoop measured from right to left. DO NOT measure from the yoke to the front of the net. The second measure is how deep the bag is...to get this measurement hold the net horizontally until the bottom of the bag touches the ground and take this measurement from the hoop to the ground. This will give you the measurements you need.

I had a Beckman net that was not hook proof and I found a place in MN that will rubber dip any net. Sent mine there and it was $35 to dip and ship back to me. Very happy with it turned out nice. If interested I could look up the name and email of the company.
