I am looking to get a new reel for throwing larger baits such as bull dawgs. What is going to be the best option for me? I am going to put it on a rod that is rated for lures 3-10 ounce.

Calcutta or Revo with a TI xxh. Both good combos

I've been using a Calcutta TE for about 7 years, and it's as good, and probably better than the day I bought it. Just bougt a Tranx about 2 months ago and have used it once. Caught 1 musky with it so far. It really takes a lot of the pressure off if you want to burn a bucktail. I like it.

Saltist 30 has been great for me, it reels in the slack very quickly for the jerk and pause retreive. Plus you don't have to leave your wallet at the store.
