| I would like to throw some of my smaller bucktails such as a Mepps Musky Killer which weighs 3/4 oz. with a Tackle Industries MH rod that is rated 1-6 oz.
What is the best way to add some weight to these - or other - bucktails without ruining the action? Has anybody tried a weighted leader?
Thanks in advance for you input.

| I attach a split ring on the main wire of the bucktail where the furthest back hook is attached and I can add what ever weight of bell sinker I need. |

Location: SE, WI. | You can use a keel weight , weight forward in front, like the old bucher bucktail, and then balance your bucktail in back. Similar to the old lusox, without the weighted leader. . . Like these I made for the Mrs....:o
