Location: Elko - Lake Vermilion | Just got the VMax rebuilt with new power head, pistons, bearings, rods, rings ect. ect.
Runs like new. Only cost me parts, because of the last repair on the oil injector pump came loose.
Motors don't run good without oil......

Steve,
Not even Gregg Thomas or Ben Olson ....,or .....TJ. will outlast this old "Blond haired" man. (Tony Grant, might)
This rig will do almost 70mph...... Gota love it !
Guys, muskie fishing is just a part of enjoying this CRAZY LIFE !!

Location: Elko - Lake Vermilion | 67 the other day on the gps,....... Maybe with the wind to my back , Eh ?
Plus the skeeter hull is about 700lbs lighter than a ranger of same size.

Location: Elk River, Minnesota | I bet it could reach 70.... Couple of tweeks with the prop and a jack plate...it'd hit 70..
Did they bore the block? If so...more power yet...

| Thats cookin!! I had that motor on a ranger with a tempest and it wouldn't sniff that speed.
Is it a custom prop? Or have you played with exhaust etc...? |

Location: Elko - Lake Vermilion | I asked about getting it Bored out but the shop said to stay with a sleeved head and keep everything close to standard.
The prop is an after market item.
Ask Jake Bucki about some of his rides in that boat,..... He just looks at me with that shnit eaten grin on his face and shakes his head. |

| Nothing cures what ails a man than speed. Oh, and farts. Those tend to make young and old men smile. Good luck with the repower. |

| That looks like a bass hull, not a multi-species hull. Almost every brand of bass boat maxed at 200hp will run between 65-70 loaded. Some hit 75. Love the Skeeter look. |
