Location: Minocqua, WI | It's already available. Per recommendation of TJ it arrived last week.
Amazon has them in stock. For $100, can't go wrong, and can't wait to see how it performs! |

Location: Mt. Zion, IL | The 2012 Insight HD chip has not been released yet. Check the manufacturer part number and it is NOT 000-10645-001. This part number is the 2012 version. The version on Amazon is 000-10039-001.
TJ,
Please post the availability date on here or send me a PM. |

| Talked to Thornes today and they have them in stock.
TJ, have you actually used these chips yet? I desperately want one, but really want to know how they compare to the lakemaster chips in detail and accuracy. Someone told me it was derived using lakemaster data (possibly older data), but no one could confirm. Ideas? |

| I checked out the Pro chip at a local retailer yesterday side by side with the most recent Lakemaster chip that worked in an HDS.
On the bodies of water I selected, the data appeared identical. Granted it was a small sample size and I suspect there to be differences somewhere, but at least the ones I chose appeared the same.
Not sure I like the purplish contour lines though. |
